IRVINE—Congresswoman Katie Porter (CA-45) today announced her “Valentines for Vets” program to collect and distribute Valentine’s Day cards to Southern California veterans. “Those who’ve selflessly served our country deserve our highest level of respect and admiration for keeping our families and communities safe,” Congresswoman Porter said. “Valentines for Veterans is a great way to show our district’s gratitude toward our veterans who answered the call to service, spending months away from their families and risking their lives in defense of our nation and its principles.” Constituents are encouraged to participate in “Valentines for Vets” by dropping off or mailing cards to Congresswoman Porter’s district office in Irvine. The office will also be available for constituents to make a card on Tuesday, February 4th – Thursday, February 6th from 4:30pm-5:30pm. On Valentine’s Day, Congresswoman Porter will deliver submitted cards to Southern California veterans and caregivers. 2151 Michelson Drive, Suite 195 ### |
