ADVISORY: MONDAY: Southern California Representatives Porter, Lowenthal, and Levin to Hold Hearing in Orange County on Recent Major Oil Leak

All three Congressmembers serve on House Natural Resources Committee; Porter chairs Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee, Lowenthal chairs Energy and Mineral Resources Subcommittee

Congresswoman Katie Porter (CA-45), Chair of the House Natural Resources Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations; Congressman Alan Lowenthal (CA-47), Chair of the House Natural Resources Subcommittee on Energy and Mineral Resources; and Congressman Mike Levin (CA-49) will lead a joint hearing on the major oil leak off the coast of Orange County on Monday, October 18, 2021. The hearing, titled “Southern California Oil Leak: Investigating the Immediate Effects on Communities, Businesses, and the Environment,” will take place in Irvine, California, giving Orange County families an opportunity to speak directly with lawmakers and get information about the recent oil leak.
